Jon brings with him a wealth of experience spanning over 15 years in leadership roles within the heavy lifting and engineering industries. His experience includes managing large-scale projects in the oil & gas, renewable energy, power generation and infrastructure sectors. He has led successful business units across Africa, the Middle East, and Australia, demonstrating strong leadership, business strategy, and operational expertise.
Most recently Jon served as Roll Group’s Regional Managing Director for the Middle East, where he guided the company through a period of explosive growth and played a critical role in shaping their long-term strategy and executing key business transformations. Most notably prior he had a 10-year career with ALE Heavy lift where he was responsible for the business units in South Africa, Nigeria, and Ethiopia and overseeing expansion into other African markets. Jon’s leadership style is characterized by his ability to drive business growth, foster team collaboration, and deliver results in competitive markets.
Jon holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Stellenbosch and has furthered his leadership development at Cranfield University in the UK.

We are excited to announce that Jonathan Anderson is joining Hareket as the Regional Managing Director for the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region.
